Bill Beard, U.S. Sales Director of Commercial Products

I am pleased to announce that Bill Beard has been named U.S. Sales Director for our commercial products portfolio. Bill will be located in our Houston, TX office and will be responsible for growing our LMI and Hartell business. Reporting to Bill will be our sales team of commercial product Regional Managers and Product Specialists as well as specific inside sales supporting the product portfolio. He will report to me in this role.
Bill has a strong background in the pump industry, water/wastewater, commercial buildings, power, pulp and paper, and food & beverage. He has over 27 years of experience in industrial equipment sales, most recently with Grundfos Pump Corporation, where he served as National Sales Manager for the US Water Utility business. In this role, Bill was involved in the integration of the Municipal sales teams of acquired companies into one group focused on portfolio sales. Prior to Grundfos, Bill was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ESE Inc. a systems integration company. Bill also spent 17 years in pump distribution with Crane Engineering in roles of increasing responsibility.


Bill has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and will complete his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in May, 2014. Bill has also completed course work in strategic planning from the Wharton School and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
